A few days ago I was reading the comment section of a news story related to “gun control” (incremental illegalisation of all guns). One comment in particular caught my attention. An anti-gun activist self-righteously proclaimed that people who own guns are 44 percent more likely be involved in a gun related accident that those who don’t. While this little factoid could very well be true, it is also completely irrelevant to the natural right of people to own guns for recreation, hunting and most important, self-defense.
The four thugs below attempted to break into a rural North Carolina home occupied by a 14 year boy and his 17 year old sister. While his sister hid in a closet, the boy calmly got his shot gun and blew one of the thugs away as he attempted to break through the door. The other three scattered like roaches!
A shotgun is probably the best firearm to have for home defense. I believe anyone serious about self-defense should acquire and learn how to safely use firearms. However, since firearms cannot taken everywhere, I also recommend learning self-defense using the body, mind and spirit.

Tae Kwan Do is a martial art system similar to Japanese Karate that originated in Korea. Here in the U.S. Tae Kwan Do is very popular and a majority of the martial art studios in strip malls and storefronts across the nation teach some form of Tae Kwan Do. In Korea, Tae Kwan Do is a cultural cornerstone with a stature similar to that of baseball in the U.S.
Ok. Let’s see what we have here. Two sub orc bi-peds spay a crowded transit bus with bullets in broad daylight. It felt nightmarishly surreal to write that, but that is exactly what transpired. You can watch the video below get all the details about this horrific incident.
Another successful self-defense story. Stories like these are truly heart warming. Apparently, as the the rapist attempted to bind the clerk’s hands with plastic garbage ties, she pulled small .22 caliber pistol from her waistband and shot him in the chest. Good for her!
